-Friday, July 23rd 2010 - This piece is on the front page of most popular deviations for the week in Digital Art > Paintings > People. Its the first time i've been on any of the popular deviation pages, so I am thrilled ^^-

Shou-sama!! ^^
This was for my little project with .. We picked a photo and both did a painting of it ^^ I really enjoyed doing this and hopr to do it again!
Here is hers :


Anyhoo.. I wasn't too big of a Shou fan before... but now I am lol! He's got some gorgeous features, especially his eyes! I really tried to capture that in this painting, and I think i did well

I painted a little more hair at the top and fur on the right than was in the reference so that i could have him a little more centered ^^

On a side note, NEVER DOING FUR AGAIN >.<
It took me longer than everything else in the whole painting! I mean, it looks alright I guess, but I'm not totally happy with it

I left the background out on this one because there was just wayyyy too much going on in it lol!!
